N21E Great Lakes

Thanks to Steven Reinhardt for commenting that this 1932 Great Lakes 2T-1A was flown by International Aerobatics Hall of Fame pilot Harold Krier in airshows throughout the 1950s and 1960s. According to an excellent article on the International Aerobatic Club website, Harold sold the plane to Charlie Hillard in 1966.

Harold was killed in 1971 while test flying a new airplane. More info at http://genealogytrails.com/kan/butler/krier-harold.html

    1. Thank you, Steven! Now that you point it out, I can make out "Krier Bros" painted on the tail and Harold's name behind the cockpit. Will update the page to reflect that.
